Green Civil Engineer Job Description (sample):
Responsibilities:
Provide technical input to drafting personnel to develop detail
drawings. Provide technical input to the sales department for
the development of technical proposals. Use sound engineering
judgment in the development of new and innovative drilling equipment
components. Occasionally be required to provide on-site supervision for the
repair of existing equipment or test assembly of new equipment.
Minimum Qualifications: BSCE or BSME required, MSCE or MSME
preferred. 3 to 5 years of relevant design experience in the
petroleum drilling industry required. EIT registration required, or
must be obtained within one year of hire. PE registration
preferred. Experience using MS office software and AutoCAD software
required. Experience using Autodesk Inventor, or 3D FEA software,
such as STAAD, RISA, or STRUCAD required.

discipline after

and it was defined to distinguish non-military
engineering from military engineering.[5]
It is traditionally broken into several
sub-disciplines including
environmental engineering,
geotechnical engineering,
structural engineering,
transportation engineering,
municipal or urban engineering,
water resources engineering,
materials engineering,
coastal engineering,[4]
surveying, and
construction engineering.[6]
Civil engineering takes place on all levels: in the
